NID Entrance Exam 2016 commences today, students nervous to give NID DAT
NID Entrance Exam 2016 starts today, January 10, 2016. NID Entrance exam comprises of three stages which are – NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT), Studio Test and Interview round.
NID DAT 2016 for admission in Bachelor of Design (BDes), Master of Design (MDes) and Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) is being held across 17 test cities in the country.
Shiksha.com spoke to few students who shared that they are extremely excited to appear for NID entrance test. Mahika Arora said, “I have always had a creative instinct in me and I am hoping to use this creativity to perform well in the exam”. Elaborating along same lines, Suresh was quoted as saying, “I have not prepared very extensively for NID DAT. I am currently working as a web designer with HCL and I am hoping to use my practical experience in solving the test paper.
But not all students are as enthusiastic. Many students look nervous and share that they do not know what type of test paper NID exam 2016 will have. Mahesh Singh shares his concern about the change in marking system of NID exam this year, “In previous years more emphasis was on how well you could draw or sketch but this year since there is slight change, so I do not know what exactly to expect from the test”.
Students are also a little confused regarding the syllabus for the NID Entrance Exam 2016. Shubhi Mittal shared, “I did not know what exactly to prepare for the test, the topics are very objective and vast. So I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best”.
