BITSAT 2014, conducted by BITS-Pilani, is will be held between May 14 and May 29, 2014.
The three hour long paper will be of 150 marks and will be divided into four sections/parts given below. Each of the four parts will have objective-type and multiple-choice questions. Each question will have 4 options to choose from but with only one correct option. Since, BITSAT will be a computer based online test, students will not have a chance to select more than one option for any question.
Part I: Physics (40 questions)
Part II: Chemistry (40 questions)
Part III:
(a) English Proficiency (15 questions)
(b) Logical Reasoning (10 questions)
Part IV: Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm candidates) (45 questions)
Opportunity to score extra points:
- Students can score extra points if they are able to solve all the 150 questions, without skipping any of them.
- For the same, students will have to attempt 12 extra questions - 4 each from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics or Biology. This will help them increase their scores in BITSAT 2014.
- There will be no extra time to solve these questions. Besides this, once a student chooses to attempt the 12 questions, they will not be able to go back and change their answers to the original 150 questions.
- These questions will have negative marking.
