Most of the students whom spoke to shared that BITSAT 2017 that the exam was similar to that of last year's. While English was the easiest, Physics and Mathematics the toughest, Chemistry was of moderate level.

An engineering aspirant, Sarthak Agarwal said, “As expected, BITSAT 2017 was pretty easy like it has been all these years. It is said that BITSAT’s difficulty level if more than that of other online engineering entrance exams like VITEEE, SRMJEEE, MU-OET etc. I think it’s more or less of the same level. If you are thorough with all the concepts and know each and every formula, then you can easily solve 100 to 120 questions correctly,”

“I had successfully gone through all 150 questions in the exam and attempted around 114-115 questions. However, I ended up marking more than 15 questions wrongly. Chemistry was absolutely theoretical. Only 2 to 4 questions out of 40 were numericals. I did not focus much on Chemistry which I guess if the most scoring part of the exam. If prepared well, you will be able to finish Chemistry within 30 minutes. You should know the theoretical part by heart as there are direct questions in Chemistry. As far as the English section is concerned, you can easily do 20+ questions out of the total 25. But for that, your English vocabulary and grammar should be very strong. For Maths and Physics, you need a lot of practice. For the former, you need both – Speed and Accuracy. Aspirants who are able to score 200+ in JEE Mains will be easily able to get more than 300 in BITSAT” said, Chandradev Pandey who took the exam from one of the BITSAT test centers in Noida.

Another student, Aman Rai from Amity International School said, " If you are prepared well, you would be able to crack the exam and get a score. I think, more weightage was given to 12th standard syllabus. For me, Mathematics was the toughest, while Physics and Chemistry was of moderate level".
