Central University of South Bihar to offer seven new courses in academic session 2020-21
The Central University of South Bihar will offer seven new courses from the academic year 2020-21, at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. levels.
The Central University of South Bihar has announced that from the academic year 2020-21, seven new courses will be introduced. The new courses will be in addition to the 45 ongoing courses at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. levels.
The Postgraduate courses new courses are- M.P. Ed (Master of Physical Education, Geography, Geology, M. Pharma (Pharmaceuticals) and M. Pharm (Pharmacology). Ph.D. courses are being introduced in Commerce and History.
"The University was earlier conducting 45 courses (3 Undergraduate (UG) courses, 22 Postgraduate (PG) courses, and 20 Ph.D. courses. However, from the academic session 2020-21, University will offer 52 programs including 22 Ph.D. programs," said Mudassir Alam, University PRO.
The Central University of South Bihar has invited applications for 1,777 seats at UG, PG and Ph.D. level. For UG level 276 seats are available, for PG 1,171 and Ph.D. 330 respectively.
The Ph.D. programs for which application has been invited include Bio-Technology, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physics, Education, Clinical Psychology, Economics, and Sociology.
As per the notice released by the University's Controller of Exams, Rashmi Tripathi, candidates for admission will be selected through the test conducted by the Central University Combined admission exam body.
For students seeking admission in UG and PG courses, the computer-readable OMR based entrance examination will be conducted. For those seeking admission in Ph.D. program, the online examination will be conducted.
The Central University of South Bihar is situated in Gaya, Bihar, and is a newly found central university under the Indian Government by the Central Universities Act 2009 Section 25 of 2009.
