Colleges accepting JEE Main Score: The Joint Entrance Examination (Main), popularly known as JEE Main is the gateway for BTech admission in colleges like NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Many states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and others also offer admission in BTech courses through JEE Main. Candidates are provided here the list of colleges accepting JEE Main scores for BTech admission. Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2024 to qualify for admission to Under Graduate courses i.e. Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) offered at IIITs, NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) can check the complete list here.
JEE Main Paper -1 for B. E/B Tech is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced). This year, National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions, January and April. JEE Main 2024 Exam Pattern
NTA has released JEE Main exam pattern 2024. NTA introduced a major change in JEE Main exam pattern last year. Candidates are now required to attempt a total of 75 questions out of 90. Out of 30 questions in every section (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics), candidates will be required to attempt only 25 questions. This means students will have a total of 15 optional questions in Paper 1. There will also be negative markings for the 15 optional questions in case they are attempted by students. This step has been taken keeping in mind the reduced syllabus in Class 12 Boards across the country.
JEE Mains 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. It will enable the candidates to choose to appear in their regional language.
