Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is formed by Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association. COMEDK UGET is an undergraduate common entrance test for admission to various Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges in Karnataka. This year the exam was held on 9th May, 2010. COMEDK UGET exam consisted of three tests Physics and Chemistry paper Compulsory for both Medical & Engineering. It had 120 questions (60 questions each in Physics and Chemistry) of 120 marks to be answered in 120 minutes, Biology paper (for Medical) which carried 60 questions of 60 marks to be answered in 60 minutes and mathematics paper consisted 60 questions of one mark each and the duration for that test was one hour.


COMEDK entrance test is mandatory test for candidates who want to pursue for the Under-Graduate courses in COMEDK Member Institutions. However it is only the first step. In addition, a candidate has to undergo the selection process of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the Under -Graduate programmes of that Institute.
