COVID-19: AKTU to release semester exam date sheet post lockdown
Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University will release the date sheet for all the undergraduate and postgraduate semester examination, once the lockdown is lifted.
Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University has announced that the date sheet of the semester examination for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, will be released after the lockdown is lifted.
"In order, to complete the syllabus of the students, the institute will be conducting internal examination and class tests through online mode during this lockdown period. Once it is uplifted, the students will be notified about the dates of the semester examination," said Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak, vice-chancellor, while addressing students through live sessions on Facebook and Youtube.
Earlier, the AKTU had postponed its State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) scheduled to be held on May 10, 2020. The UPSEE is conducted by AKTU, to fill up engineering seats in government and private engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The new dates are expected to be announced soon.
UPSEE is conducted annually for admission in First Year of B. Tech./B.Arch./B.Des./B.Pharm./ BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/B.Voc./MBA/MBA(Integrated)/MCA/MCA(Integrated)/M.Tech.(Integrated)/M.Tech/M.Arch/MURP/M.Pharm/M.Des courses. The examination is conducted on a single day on multiple slots across various test cities of India.
Along with this, AKTU had also extended the last date to modify details in filled application form up to April 14 from earlier the last date of April 9.
The university has also launched helpline number 080-67612338 to help students mentally and physically in the growing transition of COVID-19.
Prof Pathak has said that the helpline number will work every day from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm. The counseling will be done through this helpline number.
