IIITH UGEE 2020 exam today; Know do's and dont's

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad will be conducting the IIITH Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UGEE) 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown on June 24 (today).
Applicants appearing for the IIITH UGEE 2020 entrance examination need to be extremely careful during this time. They need to follow the norms of social distancing, regular sanitization, and wearing masks to avoid contracting Coronavirus while taking the exam.

IIITH UGEE 2020 Guidelines: DOs and DON'Ts
List of DOs
- Do reach the examination hall, atleast half an hour before the commencement of the IIITH UGEE 2020 exam
- Carry the IIITH UGEE 2020 Admit card along with you
- Carry your photo identity proof and passport size photograph
- Ask question if feeling confused about anything
- Read all the exam instructions slowly and carefully
- Check the system allotted to you – if it is in working condition
- Do ensure that all the details on the attendance sheet are correct and signatures are done at the prescribed place/column
- Show your IIITH UGEE 2020 admit card whenever asked by the invigilator
- Do follow the signals given by the invigilator at the beginning of the examination, at half-time and before the closing of the exam
- Always attempt the easy and medium level questions first as they have the same marks but consume less time
List of DON'Ts
- Don’t carry electronic gadgets such as watches, calculators, mobile phone or any other device to the examination hall
- Do not rush while going through the exam instructions
- Do not waste much time on the question you dont know
- Do not spend much time on one question
- Take your time to solve the questions
- Try to solve question on the rough sheet this will give you better idea
- Ask exam invigilator before leaving the examination hall even if you have completed the exam
IIITH UGEE 2020 Exam Day Guidelines - COVID-19 prevention
Below are some of the precautions necessary to contain the spread of COVID-19. Candidates are required to follow:
- Carry your own mask, sanitizer and gloves, etc.
- Wear clothes that should have covered your full body
- Maintain social distancing at the examination centre as mentioned by the health ministry
- Do not appear for the exam if feeling unwell, this means even if you are not infected there will be a high chance of contracting the virus
- Avoid touching or physical contact while authentication and verification process
After qualifying the IIITH Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UGEE) exam, aspirants will be eligible for admission to the various engineering courses. The IIITH UGEE 2020 question paper will have two sections SUPR – Subject Proficiency test and REAP – Research Aptitude Test. The questions in SUPR and REAP will be based on XI and XII level of Physics/Maths/Chemistry.
