IIT Bhubaneshwar opening & closing ranks for 2014 admissions

One of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), IIT Bhubaneshwar was established in 2008. The institute offers admission to engineering programs on the basis of candidate’s performance in JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced.

Located on the outskirts of Bhubaneshwar, the campus is well spread in 936 acres of government land. The institute provides admissions to students aspiring to study BTech, MTech and PhD courses. The undergraduate academic courses offered by the IIT Bhubaneshwar includes B. Tech in Civil, Electrical, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering with 40 seats in each of the programme. Last year, a new course in BTech Metallurgical and Materials Engineering was introduced with intake capacity of 20 students.

Students who are desiring to take admissions to B.Tech programmes can have a look at the cut off ranks for 2014 admissions. The opening and closing ranks for the year 2015 are likely to be more or less similar to last year’s ranks.
