IIT Hyderabad Opening & Closing Ranks for 2014 admissions

Counted amongst the eight new Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), IIT Hyderabad was built in 2008. The college is a government engineering institute which is situated in Telangana region of the country. The institute is segmented into 10 engineering departments, three science, one design and one liberal arts department.
Like any other IITs, admissions for BTech programmes are on the basis of candidate’s performance in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance 2015. The institute offers eight disciplines of both BTech & MTech programmes and research in fields including sciences, liberal arts and engineering. IIT aspirants can pursue B.Tech streams in disciplines such as Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Science & Engineering, Engineering Physics, Engineering Science and Material Science & Metallurgical Engineering offered by the institute.
The cut offs for admission in IIT Hyderabad has been higher than those of other new IITs. For admission process to various B.Tech disciplines offered by the institute, students can refer to previous year opening and closing ranks. Usually, branch wise cut off ranks tends to be similar to previous year ranks. Below is the list of previous year’s opening and closing rank which would give an estimated figure for admission in IIT Hyderabad this year.
