ISM Dhanbad Opening & Closing Ranks for 2014 admissions

Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad was established in 1926 on similar lines of Royal School of Mines by the Government of India. Spread in an area of 218 acres of land, the campus comprises of several buildings for academic departments, workshops, hostels and other faculties. The institute offers admissions to various BTech programmes on the basis of their performance in JEE Advanced 2015.
Academic departments such as Engineering, Applied Sciences, Management and Humanities & Social Sciences provide students the appropriate knowledge and space for research purpose in the institute. There are 13 disciplines of BTech programmes offered by institute such as Mining, Petroleum, Mining Machinery, Mineral, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Civil and Chemical Engineering. Apart from this, five year integrated MTech, MPhil, two year MSc, two year MBA and PhD programmes are offered by the college to students.
Currently, the institute has 18 departments and five inter-disciplinary centers offered in pure sciences, engineering, management and humanities. Candidates who are aspiring to study in this institute need to qualify in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. The exam is conducted every year for admissions to IITs and other top colleges.
