JEE Advanced 2015 Result Analysis
JEE Advanced 2015 Results: The toppers and ranks for JEE Advanced 2015 were declared yesterday on June 17, 2015. However, students who appeared for JEE Advanced 2015 can now check their results today, June 18, 2015. According to information, JEE Advanced 2015 ranks will be announced around 10 am today.
This year, 26,456 out of the 1,17,238 candidates who took the test qualified for admission to IITs. In the year 2014, as many as 27, 152 of the 1.36 lakh aspirants got through JEE Advanced.
Satvat Jagwani from Satna, Madhya Pradesh, topped JEE Advanced 2015 with an All India Rank 1 (469/504). While, Janak Agarwal and Mukesh Pareekh from Indore bagged the second and third position respectively. Know more about JEE Advanced 2015 toppers and their profiles here.
As per the release published by IIT Bombay - the conducting body of JEE Advanced 2015 - out of the total number of students who qualified the exam, 23,407 are male candidates while 3,049 are female aspirants.
Keep up with its past performance, this year again, IIT Bombay recorded the best performance in JEE Advanced in comparison to the other zonal IITs. Around 50% more students qualified for the exam as compared to the last year. IIT Bombay was followed by IIT-Madras and IIT Delhi at the second and third position respectively.
