JEE Advanced 2017 Results: Sarvesh Mehtani from Panchkula bags AIR 1

JEE Advanced 2017 Topper - Sarvesh Mehtani

JEE Advanced 2017 results got declared on June 11 on the official website. This year, Sarvesh Mehtani from Panchkula topped JEE Advanced with an AIR (All India Rank) 1. A student of Bhavan Vidyalaya School, Mehtani bagged an AIR 55 in JEE Main 2017, the results for which were declared on April 27. The 17 year old aims to get into IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Bombay for CSE (Computer Science Engineering) and has scored 339 marks out of 366 in JEE Advanced 2017. His subject wise scores are: 120 in Mathematics, 104 in Physics and 115 marks in Chemistry.

The All India Rank (AIR) 2 has been bagged by Akshat Chugh from Pune, Maharashtra while the third position (AIR 3) has been secured by Ananay Aggarwal from Delhi. Akshat and Ananay was ranked 7^th and 3^rd respectively in JEE Main 2017.

JEE Advanced 2017 was held on May 21, 2017. From this year, 20,000 more aspirants were eligible to write JEE Advanced, thus taking the total up to 2, 20,000. However, these candidates should have first cleared JEE Main. JEE Advanced 2017 was organised and conducted by IIT Madras.
