JEE Main 2015 Ranks: Check Top Scores, Ranks & Board Marks of Toppers

JEE Main 2015 Toppers - JEE Main 2015 ranks were declared on July 1, 2015. Soon after that, the joint seat allocation process for the exam commenced on the official website of JoSAA 2015.

This year, as many as 13,04,646 students registered for the exam. Out of these, 11,05,135 candidates registered for the offline exam, while 1,87,782 aspirants appeared for the online exam.

According to information, all the top three rankers are from Maharashtra.  Pune boy Sankalp Gaur topped the exam with All India Rank 1 along with securing the highest score. Gaur is followed by Tanuj Kaza from Mumbai at the second position with AIR 2, and Giridhar S at number three. Girdhar too is from Pune.

JEE Main 2015 AIR 1 Topper - Sankalp Gaur

• XII Board Marks: 97.80%

Sankalp Gaur from Pune secured 345 out of 360 in JEE Main 2015.  Being the topper with an AIR 1 was something he never expected. Though he got the highest marks in the exam, he still wasn’t sure of his rank. Gaur plans to pursue electrical engineering in IIT Bombay. However, his ultimate aim is to pursue pure physics.

JEE Main 2015 AIR 2 Topper - Tanuj Kaza

• XII Board Marks: 95.85%

Tanuj Kaza, a student of PACE Junior Science College, Andheri, scored 95.85% in his HSC exams. According to him, he never expected to emerge as the second topper.

JEE Main 2015 AIR 3 Topper - Giridhar S

• JEE Advanced Rank: 84
• XII Board Marks: 98%

A student from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Southern Command, Giridhar topped his school with 98 per cent in CBSE Class XII results. He plans to pursue computer science and engineering at IIT-Bombay.

JEE Main 2015 AIR 4 Topper - Sheshansh Agarwal

• JEE Advanced Rank: 58

Sheshansh credits all his success to his family and teachers. A student of ALLEN Career Institute, Kota, he has been a NTSE and KVPY scholar with three times selections in International Astronomy Olympiad. Sheshansh secured AIR 58 in JEE Advanced and is all set to join IIT Bombay.

JEE Advanced Rank: 18

XII Board Marks: 97.8%

A student of SMS School, Jaipur,  Divyansh Pareek scored 97.8% in class XII exam. Son of a chartered accountant, Pareek wants to get into IIT Bombay. In his free time, he loves listening to music and playing games.

According to Prateek, he never stressed himself by trying to learn new things at the last moment and curtailing his sleep. He also believes that his mentors at ALLEN Career Institute, Kota helped him a lot during his preparations.

JEE Main Score: 317

JEE Advanced Rank: 18

XII Board Marks: 97.8%

For Mukund Mishra, being ranked at the 6^th position was something he never expected. He says, "I thought I might just land into the Top 100 list but AIR 6 is too much. Something that I never ever expected”. Mukund wants to pursue CSE at IIT Bombay.
