JEE Main 2017 cut-off is expected to be high this year. According to Ramesh Batlish, FIITJEE expert, the cut off for CML (Common Merit List) this year will be around 115. In 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, the cut-off was 113,115,105,100 respectively.

The official and final cut off will be by CBSE only by the end of April 2017, before the commencement of JEE Advanced 2017.

Admission through centralised allocation process in NITs / IIITs / DTU / CFTIs for over 24000 seats in undergraduate courses will be according to merit list based on marks in JEE Main examination, however the candidate must be in top twenty percentile of respective board or should score minimum 75 % marks in his/her board examination .Further a total of 9 states (Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Gujarat, M.R., M.P., Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan) will also accept JEE Main ranks to fill seats through their own seat allocation process.

Top 2, 20,000 candidates of JEE Main will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced on May 21, 2017 to fight for one of 11032 seats in prestigious IITs. Check JEE Advanced 2017 exam dates here.

Last year, the cut off score for appearing in JEE Advanced stood at 100 for general candidates. While, the cut-off for OBC-NCL, SC and ST students was 70, 52 and 48 respectively.

HELLO, Aspirants must secure 75 % in the 12th exams or must be in the top 20 % conducted by the respective boards for admission in the IITs and NITs by the JEE (Advanced) exam,CHECK OUT JEE Advanced Eligibility 2018
