JEE Main 2018 Topper Interview: Bhogi Suraj Krishna AIR 1
JEE Main 2018 results were declared on April 30, and Suraj Krishna Bhogi from Andhra Pradesh topped the exam with an AIR (All India Rank) 1. Achieving a score of 350 out of 360, Krishna, on an average day used to spend nine hours studying and preparing himself for JEE Mains 2018, one of the toughest competitive engineering entrances in India.
Krishna aims to get into IIT (Indian Institutes of Technology) Bombay to pursue BTech in Computer Science. He is extremely determined to crack JEE Advanced and is taking online tests daily for practice.

Even though he was pretty confident of his performance in the exam when the answer keys were declared, he had not expected to bag the top rank. JEE Mains 2018 results was an unexpected surprise for him.
According to him, his parents are the reason for his success in JEE Mains 2018. Crediting his achievement to them, Krishna said that his parents have been his pillar of strength all throughout his journey.
For Krishna, the last two years have been all work and no play. Even though he did not have a set pattern for the test, this teenager distanced himself from what he liked doing the most — cricket — to keep himself focused on JEE prep. After he joined intermediate, he stopped playing cricket and decided to dedicate his entire time towards preparing for this and the next exam in order to secure a seat at IITs.
The second topper of JEE Main 2018 is KVR Hemant Kumar Chodipilli from Andhra Pradesh while Parth Laturia from Maharashtar bagged the third place (AIR 3). He scored 350 out of 360. Along with results, JEE Mains 2018 cut off for JEE Advanced too were declared.

JEE Main 2018 was held on April 8 in offline mode and on April 15 and 16 in online mode. The results of JEE Main 2018 Paper 2 will be declared on May 31. Check the important dates of the exam here.
After appearing for JEE Main for admissions to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, aspirants also need to appear for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. JoSAA counselling happens after JEE Advanced is over and the results are declared.
JEE Advanced 2018 registrations is set to commence from May 2 and will continue till May 7. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 20. JEE Advanced 2018 results will be declared on June 10. Check the important dates for JEE Advanced 2018 here.
