A.

Thanks a lot.  I feel great and I am extremely happy. I credit all my success to my parents and my teachers at my coaching who helped through my thick and thin.

Actually, when JEE Main 2018 answer keys were released, I got 350 out of 360. So I was expecting that I would definitely secures a rank in the Top 10. But, this was an unexpected and a pleasant surprise for me.

Q. How long have you been preparing for?

A.

I have been preparing for the exam for the last two year – Class XI and Class XII.

Q. I have been preparing for the exam for the last two year – Class XI and Class XII.

A.

I used to study for about 11 to 12 hours every day and during this time, I used to identify my mistakes and weaknesses. After doing so, I used to focus on them and rectify them most of the times.

According to me, two years are enough to crack the exam.  If you study Class XI and Class XII sincerely and cover all the topics of JEE Main and JEE Advanced then this time frame is good to crack the exam. You will be able to able to secure any rank that you want.

Q. What did you do to improve your weak areas?

A.

To improve my weak areas, I used to talk to my teachers and faculty members. I also used to discuss my weak areas and related doubts with my friends. I tried deriving new methods to solve questions and found new means and ways to develop them and convert my weaknesses into my strengths.

Q. What’s your strategy for JEE Advanced?

A.

As of now, I am focusing on my weak points and trying to develop my problem solving skills to be efficient in taking the exam

Q. Which institute are you vying for and which is the course you aim to pursue?

A.

I want to get into IIT Bombay to pursue CSE(Computer Science Engineering).

Q. Have you take any other exam/s besides JEE Main and JEE Advanced?

A.

No. I haven’t. My aim was always to crack these two.

Q. Do you think coaching is required to crack JEE?

A.

I think coaching definitely is required to crack exams like these. You can’t manage everything on your own – study or get a good score and rank in JEE Mains. At some point of time, you will require expert guidance.

Q. Any tips for aspirants taking the exam next year?

A.
  • Work hard will all your energy towards your goal.
  • Interact and discuss with your mentors and solve your doubts.
  • Pursue your hobbies to keep your mind fresh.

Q. So, tell us something about your family?

A.

So both my parents are doctors. My father Satish Laturia is a physician and my mother Seema Laturia is a pediatrician, who run their private hospital in Nanded. I have a younger sister, Palak Laturia. She is in Class X.

Q. What plans for the future? What do you want to become?

A.

I haven’t thought about it. But will definitely think about it after JEE Advanced is over.

A.

I like listening to music and sometimes meditate and do Yoga and as well. I also play table tennis whenever I have the time to do so.
