JEE Main 2020 application form has been re-opened from May 19-24 for the students who dropped their study abroad plans due to COVID-19. The announcement was made by the Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.

Correction window for editing particulars/exam cities in JEE Main 2020 application form will be available from May 25-31.

Mr Pokhriyal, through his official social media account, said: “I have advised the Director-General of NTA to give one more opportunity to students to submit new/complete online application form for JEE (Main) 2020. Hurry! Forms available till 24th May.”

The application form can be filled online by visiting the official website i.e. www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. According to Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, it will give a chance to those students who dropped their study abroad plan due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they can now pursue their studies in India.

The NTA, in a notification, said: " In view of the representations received from various students who were scheduled to join colleges abroad but are now keen to pursue their studies in the country due to the changed circumstances arising out of COVID-19, and would thus like to appear in the JEE Main 2020, the NTA has decided to give one last opportunity."

How to fill JEE Main Application Form 2020?

Aspirants can fill the application form of JEE Main April 2020 by following the step-by-step procedure given below.

• Go to the official website
• Click on the “Fill JEE Main April 2020 Application Form” button
• Register yourself by filling the basic details such as name, father’s name, address, date of birth, choose a password, etc.
• Fill the application form using personal details, academic details, select the exam centre, etc.
• Upload photo and signature in the prescribed format
• Pay the application fee through credit card/ debit card/ net banking/Paytm/UPI
• Submit the application form
• Take a printout of it for the further use
