KCET 2014 College Predictor: Know college cut-offs
KCET 2014 was conducted on May 1 and 2 and the exam results were declared on May 27, 2014. The next thing that any student would go on to - soon after the results are declared -is calculate their expected scores and explore colleges of his/her choice based on this score.
KCET is a gateway for admission into first year of various courses in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the state of Karnataka. Deciding a college/institute might be an easier task. But finding the KCET 2014 college cut-off that would make you eligible for your preferred institute might just pose some difficulties.
With an aim to tackle this concern of all the KCET 2014 aspirants, shiksha.com introduced the Karnataka CET College Predictor tool that would help these students find the cut-offs of their preferred institute. Besides this, the tool will also help students with location of the institute, branch they are eligible for, institute &course code and the closing rank for the particular course.
At a given point of time, students will be able to see a list of 15 institutes along with their cut-offs and other related details. To get the cut-offs, students just need to fill their preferred college/s, category and the counseling round (Round 1 and Round 2) for which you require the cut offs.

Step 1: Select Preferred Colleges
The first step is to select your preferred institute/s from the drop down list available on the right hand side. The very list includes all the institutes that accept KCET.
Please note that you can select one or more than one college/s at a time.
Step 2: Select Category
Here, you need to select which category you are from. For the same, you have an option to select from GM(General Merit), GMK(General Merit Kannada), GMR(General Merit Rural), 2AR(2A Rural), 2A(2A General), 2AK(2A Kannada) 2BG(2B General), 2BK(2B Kannada), 2BR(2B Rural), 3AG(3A General), 3AK(3A Kannada), 3AR(3A Rural), 3BG(3B General), 3BK(3B Kannada), 3BR(3B Rural), 1G(1 General), 1K(1 Kannada), 1 R(1 Rural), SCG(Schedule Caste General), SCR(Schedule Caste Rural), SCK(Schedule Caste Karnataka), STR(Schedule Tribe Rural). Step 3: Select Round
In this step, you need to select the counseling round where you will have the option to select the following: Counseling round - All (for both - round 1 and round 2), round 1 counseling and round 2 counseling.
After entering all these information, all you have to do is hit the 'search' button at the end. Soon after doing this, a list of 15 colleges (more or less) along with the branch and the cut off(closing rank) would appear on the screen in front of you. Through this, you could get an idea about which college you can get into with your expected rank.
In case, if there are over 15 colleges in the list based on your expected score and you wish to check the same, you can always ‘load more results’ option at the end of the page.
You will also have the option to modify your search, in case you wish to.
