KCET College Predictor: Find college and branch

In order to find out more information about the engineering branches and colleges in which you may be offered admissions, you need to fill in information like your rank/expected rank in KCET 2015, reservation category and counselling round in the KCET 2015 college predictor. As soon as you do this, you will be provided with a list of colleges as well as engineering branch names and course codes wherein you would be eligible for admissions.

Step 1- Enter rank/Predicted rank

In the first step, you have to fill in your KCET 2015 rank in the box provided in the tool. If you are trying to find out the branch or college for admissions before the declaration of KCET results, then in this field you can type the rank which you expect to secure in KCET.

Step 2- Select category

In the next step, you will have to select the category to which you belong. Here you need to select the category which you have filled in the KCET 2015 application form. The reservation categories from which you can select are – General Merit (GM), General Merit Kannada (GMK), General Merit Rural (GMR), Schedule Caste General (SCG), Schedule Caste Kannada (SCK), Schedule Caste Rural (SCR), Schedule Tribe General (STG), Schedule Tribe Kannada (STK), Schedule Tribe Rural (STR), 1 General (1G), 1  Kannada (IK), 1 Rural (1R), 2A General  (2AG),  2A Kannada (2AK), 2A Rural (2AR), 2B General  (2BG), 2B Kannada (2BK), 2B Rural (2BR), 3A General (3AG), 3A Kannada (3AK), 3A Rural (3AR), 3B General (3BG),  3B Kannada (3BK) and 3B Rural (3BR).

Step 3- Select round

In the final step, you have to select the counselling round for which you want to view results regarding the colleges, engineering branches and closing ranks. The counselling rounds from which you can select are – Counselling round (All), Round 1 and Round 2.

After filling in all these details, you need to click on the orange coloured search button which is displayed at the bottom of the form.

As soon as you click on this button a list of 15 entries is displayed for you. In this list you can view the name of college along with the engineering branch in which you can get admission on the basis of information provided by you in the KCET 2015 college predictor tool. Apart from this, you are also provided information about the counselling round and closing rank for admissions into a particular college and engineering branch.

Aspirants are informed that the results shown in KCET 2015 college predictor are on the basis of KCET 2014 closing ranks.

In the college predictor tool, you can also download brochure for any college that you like. Apart from this, you can also compare a total of four colleges that are displayed in the list for you. When you add colleges for compare then a separate page opens up which provides you information about all the selected colleges under headers such as – Course Name, Alumni Rating, Course Duration, Affiliations, Top Recruiting Companies, Fee, Eligibility, Hostel, Transport Facility, Wifi Campus and Free Training.

At any point of time if you want to change the information filled by you in the tool, then you need to click on the “Modify search” button. On doing this, you will be taken back to the form which you can fill again and see a fresh set of search results.
