Earlier, we had explained about how you can search for branch and college for admissions on the basis of KEAM 2015 rank. In this article, we will be talking about each and every option as well as feature available in KEAM 2015 cut-off predictor for students to find out the closing rank for admissions in different engineering colleges in Kerala.
Step 1- Select Preferred College
In the first field, you can select the name of your preferred college from the list. You can select as many colleges as you want in the “search preferred college” option present in the KEAM 2015 Cut-off Predictor Tool. Apart from this, you are also given an option to find the closing rank for any engineering college of your choice in the state of Kerala by typing the name of the college in the search bar available in the tool.
Step 2- Select Category
In the next box, you have to select the category to which you belong and which you had filled in the KEAM 2015 application form. A drop down containing different reservation categories is available for you to make your selection. The categories specified in the drop down are as follows: State Merit (SM), Ezhava (EZ), Muslim (MU), Latin Catholic (LC), Other Backward Hindu (BH), Other Backward Christian (BX), Kudumbi (KU), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and MG.
Step 3- Select Round

Here, you are provided with an option to select from Counselling Round- All, Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3. If you select the first option, the search results displayed before you would display the closing ranks of different engineering branches that will be offered to you in the college (selected by you in the first field) in all the three counselling rounds.
After filling these details in the KEAM 2015 college predictor tool, you need to click on the – Search button which is present at the bottom of this form.
Immediately, a list of 15 search results is displayed before you wherein you can view the college name, branch name, counselling round as well as closing rank for admissions. In the KEAM cut-off predictor tool, after searching for results, you are given an option to compare the colleges of your choice. You can view a small box with the text “Add to Compare” against some colleges displayed in the search list. On clicking this box a small pop-up opens at the bottom of the page which displays the name and a thumbnail image of the college. You can select up to four colleges in the compare box. After doing this, you need to click on the orange link stating – Compare. As soon as you do this, all your selected colleges are compared in a tabular form, on criteria such as course name, alumni rating, course duration, mode of study, affiliation, top recruiting companies, AICTE approval, fee, hostel and transport facility.
However, at any point if you feel you want to change your selection of colleges for compare, you can simply click on the small cross mentioned in the search result. On doing so, a blank box appears wherein you can type the name of college or select a similar college for compare.
