Know GATE 2015 Topper Profiles

GATE 2015 results got declared on March 11, 2015 around midnight. GATE results were expected to be announced on March 12, 2015, however, the results were out a day in advance.

GATE 2015 exam was held on January 31, February 1, 7 and 8, 2015 in multiple sessions in over 190 cities and states across the country. If reports are to be believed, as many as 9,28,553 aspirants took the exam this year as compared to the 10,33,625 aspirants last year.

According to information, All India Rank(AIR) 1 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation Engineering and Production and Industrial Engineering has been acquired by Ashok Bansal, Pradeep Seervi, Jaya Jha, Ravi Shankar Mishra, Swapnil Pandey and Amit Dixit respectively.

Ashok Bansal has been a student of Delhi Technological University(DTU), while, Jaya Jha hails from Raipur and is a student of NIT(National Institute of Technology) Raipur .

Deepak R, Mohd. Qamruzzaman, Biswa Jyoti Lahkar and Himanshi Sinha have acquired the second rank in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Computer Science respectively.

The third rank in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering has been bagged by Gaurav Rampravesh, Ropin Singh, Gaurav Malhotra and Ankush respectively.

The fourth, fifth and sixth ranks in Instrumentation Engineering have be bagged by Shubham Neema, Tomojit Chatterjee and Pushkar Kothari respectively.

Sourav Gupta is the fifth ranker in the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering branch.

Students can download GATE 2015 exam score cards between March 27, 2015 to May 29, 2015 from the official website. To download, candidates need to have access to the zonal websites from where they have appeared for GATE 2015 exam.
