Pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science from his dream institute – IIT BHU (Varanasi), Hardik Kumar believes in dreaming high and achieving his goals. One of the oldest IIITs, IIT BHU (Varanasi) is amongst the top seven IITs. According to Hardik, the institute has given him the space to continue his hobbies of dancing, painting and playing games along with studying.

On entering IIT BHU (Varanasi), the first thing one would notice is the Vintage old building that converts dreams into reality. Being quite old, the infrastructure of the building is mesmerizing and looks the same as it looked when constructed in the era of Britishers.

“Besides a lot of study pressure and competition amongst the students, you do not find it difficult to study as there is a lot to unwind” shares Hardik on asking about the life at IIT BHU (Varanasi).

It’s a dream for every engineering aspirant to study at IITs. However, the one thing they are curious about is the life inside the college campus. Also, there are a number of interest clubs formed by students so they can make better utilisation of their talent in free time.”

Talking about his hostel life and college mess, Hardik says “My hostel and the mess is pretty good. I would like other hostels’ mess to get as good as mine. I have heard my friends complaining regarding the bad food and unhygienic environment. One thing that bothers me is the system of changing your hostel every year. Rest everything is fine.”
