MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions is one of the leading education groups in India that offers education at both college and school level. The first flagship institute of MIT Group of Institutions, Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) was established in 1983 under the trust named, Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER), Pune.

Avantika University is a design-centered university promoted by MIT Group of Institutions and established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 2017. The varsity is based out of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh and offers UG and PG courses in three areas, namely, Design, Engineering and Fashion.
