Mechanical Engineering Subjects
Mechanical Engineering is a popular specialization in engineering study. Candidates can know complete information about Mechanical Engineering subjects like eligibility, curriculum and more below.
Mechanical Engineering is one of the most popular degree majors among students. Students who have a keen interest to design, develop, build and evaluate all types of mechanical devices can pursue a Mechanical engineering degree. It is usually a four to five years undergraduate degree course where students choose their preferred specializations. While pursuing Mechanical engineering subjects students will learn about the basic knowledge of how heavy tools and devices work. A Mechanical Engineering graduate has a wide range of job opportunities in India and abroad.
Mechanical Engineering Eligibility Criteria
To pursue a Mechanical engineering degree course, students have to fulfill the basic eligibility requirement at the UG and PG levels.
- Undergraduate: Students should have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as core subjects. They should also have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the above subjects.
- Postgraduate: Candidates must have completed a BTech degree in the same specialization with a passing percentage in aggregate of the subjects studied at the degree level.
Note: The eligibility criteria for Mechanical engineering admission will vary from one college to another.
