Nehru Group of Institutions (NIG)
Nehru Group of Institutions (NIG) was established in 1968 in Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. NIG was set up with the objective of providing higher education in the field of Aeronautical Engineering to the students of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. However, gradually NIG expanded and started offering undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) courses in other engineering branches and other streams such as Management, Arts, Science, Paramedical Sciences and Hospitality. NIG also started offering pre-school education to kids.
Currently, the Nehru Group of Institutions operates through its 20 state-of-the-art institutions (19 institutes/colleges and Nehru Kids Academy) and a super-specialty hospital with a capacity of 750 beds. All the institutes/colleges under NIG are accredited by organisations such as:

- National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) "A" Grade

Courses Offered at Jawaharlal Aviation Institute (JAI)
Location: Lakkidi, Palakkad, Kerala
Established in 2010, Jawaharlal Aviation Institute is a DGCA approved institute. The institute offers ab-initio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) for obtaining basic AME licenses in mechanical stream (aero plane & power plant), comprising Light Aero Plane (LA), Heavy Aero Plane (HA), Piston Engine (PE) and Jet Engine (JE). The AME certification training course is of two years duration.
All candidates who pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to secure admission at the institute. However, AME admissions at Jawaharlal Aviation Institute are subject to the directives by DGCA in force at the time of admission.
Courses Offered at Jawaharlal College of Engineering & Technology (JCET)
Location: Lakkidi, Palakkad, Kerala
Affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum, Kerala and approved by AICTE, JCET was established in 2008. The institute is known for imparting education in Engineering stream, however, it also offers Management courses to candidates.
The institute offers excellent infrastructure to students such as a well-equipped library, hostels for both boys and girls, a cafeteria, seminar hall, internet lab, fitness centre, etc.

Courses Offered at Nehru Academy of Law
Location: Lakkidi, Palakkad, Kerala
Nehru Academy of Law was established in 2015 with a view to equip rural students at par with the national law school products. The institute is affiliated to University of Calicut and approved by BCI. The institute offers various facilities to students such as a moot court hall, a green zone to help students improve their physical and emotional health, a central library, a hostel and a digital campus.

Nehru Arts and Science College is an autonomous college situated in a tranquil and lush green environment of a 35-acre campus at Thirumalayampalayam, Coimbatore.
