RPET 2014: How to apply for the exam
RPET( Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test) is a gateway for admissions to first year of undergraduate BE/B.Tech programmes different disciplines of Engineering in various Govt. aided and Private unaided technical institutions in Rajasthan. However, the scores are not accepted by institutes BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities in the state.
The exam this year is scheduled to be conducted on May 21, 2014 from 9 am to 12 noon in Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Barmer Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Kota, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Hindaun City, Jaipur, Churu, Pilani, Sikar, Sirohi, Sri Ganganagar, Sawai, Madhopur, Tonk and Udaipur.
How to apply:
- The process of filling the applications for the exam is completely online and will be accepted online.
- The process of online submission of forms will be done through any of these websites:
- The process on filling the online application forms commenced on March 31, 2014 and the last date for the same is April 15, 2014.
Online submission of application forms:
- As mentioned above, the cost of the application form is Rs.800/- including the exam fee.
- Aspirants need to contact any of the e-Mitra/CSC kiosk center authorized by the Government of Rajasthan and deposit a sum of Rs. 815/- (Rs. 800/- against application form fees and Rs. 15/- for e-Mitra service charges).Note: This amount will neither be refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for future RPET. No plea by students in such cases will be entertained by the authorities.
- The kiosk will further generate a 16-digit token number for the aspirants via the e-Mitra portal and issue a receipt containing the token number. Students should keep this receipt safely with them for further use.
- To activate the online application form to enter the requreid details, aspirants need to enter his/her token number in the application form. Note : The online application form will not accept entries without token numbers.
Documents required to fill the application form:
- Scanned image of his/her Photograph in jpg format (image size maximum upto 100 KB)
- Scanned image of his/her Signature in jpg format (image size maximum upto 50 KB)
- Copy of the mark sheets of X, XI and XII (if passed already) examination
- Receipt issued by eMitra/CSC kiosk containing the token number
- Mobile number of the candidate or nearest relative
