To ensure there is no academic loss of students during the ongoing lockdown period, Shoolini University has been taking online classes for various courses that are offered at the university since the announcement of the lockdown.

Several schools and higher education institutions across the country were forced to shut their campuses, suspend classes, cancel or postpone exams due to coronavirus outbreak. To avoid any academic loss during this period, the Shoolini University had started online classes within just few days of the announcement of lockdown.

The Shoolini University is conducting regular lessons as per a fixed timetable to ensure that there is no disruption in studies.

Expressing her gratitude to the University Management for starting online classes, one of the parents of a BBA (FY), Sonal Gupta said that the University took the decision on time and the classes are now being conducted by the esteemed faculty members in an effective manner and up to the mark. It does not feel that the kids are missing out on their formal education.

"Online classes enabled students to remain in touch with academics. Personality development classes and webinars are also being hosted online. This is an awesome initiative,” Pabitra Kumar Bishoyi, parent of another student studying in MSc Biotech (second semester) at the University.

Keeping in mind the current scenario, Shoolini University has started online classes to keep students attached to their academic while keeping them active.

“Online classes are a great help in keeping students busy in academics. They will compensate for the loss in studies on the campus so that students do not lose out on anything during the coronavirus outbreak," Subho Bhaumik, parent of a student of BSc Physics (second semester), said,

On March 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced nationwide lockdown as a preventive measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 until April 14, 2020. However, with the rising number of positive cases of coronavirus, it was further extended to May 3, 2020.
