VITEEE 2020 Counselling (Online) starts today; Know dates and process

VITEEE 2020 Counselling will be conducted from August 10 to 23. Read on to know more about the counselling procedure.

VITEEE 2020 Counselling: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has started the VITEEE counselling 2020 (online only) on August 10. Candidates shortlisted to appear for the counselling can check the rank-wise schedule below. All the registered candidates must fill their choices of college and course within the specified date.

Seat allotment will be based on the choices filled by the candidates during VITEEE 2020 counselling. Students allotted seats will have to pay the admission fees online within three days to confirm admission. Candidates are required to pay the registration fee of Rs 5,000 to participate in the VITEEE counselling for BTech admissions.

VITEEE 2020 Counselling: Steps to Participate

Candidates are required to follow the below steps to participate in the VITEEE counselling 2020:

• Log in: Candidates have to log in using registered email id and password. Also, candidates need to pay Rs 5,000 as fees to participate in VITEEE counselling 2020.
• Fill Choices: Upon successful login, candidates will have to enter their preferred choices of course and campus
• Allotment of seats: The authorities will allot the seats to the candidates in the order of merit in the VIT rank list, availability of seats, and preferences filled by them.
• Payment of fee: In the next step of VITEEE counselling 2020, candidates will have to pay the admission fee to confirm the allotted seat within three days of seat allotment. Payment has to be made online using credit/debit card or internet banking.

Documents Required for VITEEE Counselling

Candidates must keep the following documents ready before participating in the counselling:

• VITEEE 2020 rank card
• Class 10 Board Certificate as a proof of date of birth or any other age-proof certificate
• Marks sheet of Qualifying Examination
• Class 12 hall ticket (For candidates awaiting results)
• Community Certificate (For SC/ST candidates only)
• Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura)
