Hotel Management implicates the efficient management of the tourist and technology, simultaneously. Managing a hotel is not an easy task, as it comes with a wide range of responsibilities. One should be able to habituate the new challenges, support different departments and to ensure that the hotel maintains the standard of supremacy. The hotel structure delivers order to every aspect of hotel operation from the front desk operation to the human resource department. To run a hotel, it is essential to create an organizational structure.
An organisational structure of any hotel includes food and beverages, Human resources and Marketing and accounting. Human resource department is asked to handle employee recruitment, training and benefits and accounting overseas the hotel ledger. A hotel defines each job carefully after completing its organizational structured.

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification required for Hotel Management course is 10+2. Students can even opt for certificate diploma or even degree course.
- Certificate courses can be of six months to one year duration, while a degree course of three year duration.
- Selection for Government colleges and Institutes is done through an entrance test which is held every year in the month of April.- NCHMCT JEE while private colleges conduct their own hotel management entrance exams.
- For selecting candidates, a group discussion and an aptitude test is held for final selection of the students for hotel management course.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and intrapersonal skills to handle the students with patience and delightfully to leave an impact on their clients.
Career opportunities are on wider range for hotel graduates with the inceasing competition in the hotel industry. Hotel industry has so many departments such as operations, front office, food and beverages and accounting. Students can successfully pursue a career and can grow in it.
