Indian Institute of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts
Established in 2001, Indian Institute of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts (IIHMCA) is affiliated to Osmania University. IIHMCA is spread across an area of 40,000 sq ft and is approved by Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) and State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad. Courses offered at the college include Bachelors Degree in Catering Technology and Culinary Arts (BCT&CA), Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHM&CT) and 1½ year Certificate Course in Food Production and Patisserie (FPP).
In order to secure admission in courses offered at Indian Institute of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts, candidates need to appear for Common Entrance Examination (CEE). IIHMCA CEE comprises of questions from subjects like General Knowledge, English, Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts
A part of Symbiosis International University, Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts offers a three year full time course in culinary arts. After completing this course aspirants can pursue careers such as that of a Chef, Chef Manager, entrepreneurs, food critics, food photographers, culinary advisors and the likes.
The admission process for BSc in Culinary Arts is such that candidates need to first of register for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). Thereafter, candidates need to take part in the personal interview and written ability test (GE- PIWAT).
Roots College of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts
Established in 2017, Roots College of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts is affiliated to Osmania University. Roots College of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts offers three years duration courses to students which include Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Catering Technology and Culinary Arts (BCTCA).
