Get Australian qualification in India!

Ever wished to study abroad but could not make it because of the high cost of overseas education? There's good news for you as you can now fulfill your dream while living in your own city.

Now, you can pursue Australia's popular vocational courses in tourism, retail and hospitality in India, as a leading Australian university is set to establish its roots in the country.

Heraud Inc, a Melbourne based firm is all set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TAFE NSW - Sydney Institute on the coming July 10. Consequently, TAFE institutes will be set up in India that will proffer vocational diploma courses in tourism, retail, automotive engineering, hospitality and construction.

To begin with, the company has plans to build five schools in India, beginning from Gurgaon where the first such school will be operational by April 2013. This initiative will complement the Indian government's target to train 500 million people by 2022 towards its efforts to achieve nationwide employability.

This initiative follows a two-pronged approach to train individuals as well as facilitate companies to train its own staff members. The course pedagogy will be developed by TAFE NSW Sydney Institute staff in India in cooperation with the local industry, based on the curriculum of the TAFE NSW Sydney Institute.
