Established in 1987, IHM Gwalior is spread over an area 14 acres. The official website informs, “IHM Gwalior is an autonomous body under the ministry promoted by the ministry of tourism Govt.of India & ministry of tourism govt. of Madhya Pradesh. The institute at the currently received the grant in aid from the ministry of tourism Govt. of India. The Institute was established first as – Food Craft Institute in 1987 and was upgradeted to an IHM in 1992”.

Candidates are shortlisted for admissions into Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Gwalior on the basis of NCHMCT JEE ranks.

Programmes on offer at IHM Gwalior include – BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration programme, Diploma course in Craftsmanship Course in food Production, Diploma course in Craftsmanship Course in food and Beverage Service and Diploma in Housekeeping.
