Campus Life at IHM Hajipur

Kamesh Tiwari, a first year student at IHM Hajipur shared that he dreamt of being a part of the hospitality industry since he was five years old. His dream became a reality when he cleared the NCHMCT JEE - National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam and got through IHM Hajipur.

Kamesh shares that life at Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Hajipur is good and unlike students of other colleges he cannot complain about the food provided at the college as it is amazing.

Talking about which is the most popular hotel management specialisation, Kamesh shared that most students prefer to join the food production department and become chefs, primarily because the chef is the backbone of the hotel for one reason alone that “no one wants to go to a hotel that serves bad food”.

Aspiring to join an international hotel chain, Kamesh advises that students who want to be part of this industry should really work hard on their English.

Further, he explained in details about the entire training process offered at IHM Hajipur. Listen to the podcast Shiksha.com had with Kamesh for more details on how life actually is at IHM Hajipur.
