NCHMCT JEE 2016: Eligibility & Test Centres
NCHMCT JEE exam is conducted each year by National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) to offer admissions to aspirants in hospitality and hotel administration courses offered at “21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 19 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector Undertaking and 13 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT”, informs the official website.
The BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration course offered on the basis of a candidate’s rank in NCHMCT JEE 2016 will be jointly offered by NCHM (National Council for Hotel Management) as well as Indira Gandhi National Open University.
In this course, aspirants are trained in operational areas such as – Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping, Hotel Accountancy, Human Resource Management, Food Safety & Quality, Facility Planning, Strategic Management, Financial Management, Tourism Marketing and Management.
NCHMCT JEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE exam if they have completed their Senior Secondary examination (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognised board.
Apart from this, aspirants should have studied English as a subject in his/her qualifying examination. Not only this, they should have possessed passing percentage in English in their qualifying exam. English subject studied by them can be Core, Elective or Functional.
Students who are appearing for their qualifying exam in 2016 can also apply for NCHMCT JEE 2016. However, if any such candidate doesn’t produce the proof of clearing their 10+2 or its equivalent examination at the time of NCHMCT JEE counselling/admission or latest by September 30, 2016, then his/her admission will stand cancelled.

NCHMCT JEE 2016 Test Centres
The written test for NCHMCT JEE 2016 will be conducted across 33 test centres in India. The test centre for NCHMCT JEE exam will be offered to aspirants as per the preferences selected by them in their NCHMCT JEE 2016 application form.
However, candidates need to note that change in test centre for JEE 2016 exam will not be considered within the same city.
But the exam centre for a candidate can be changed under exceptional circumstances, provided the aspirant is able to furnish valid reasons for demanding such a change. Also, in order to request for change in his/her test centre, the candidate should send an application regarding the same to the JEE Cell on or before April 15, 2015 along with a fee of Rs 1000 which is non-refundable. This fee should be sent by means of a Demand Draft which is drawn in favour of NCHMCT and is payable at Delhi/NOIDA.
