NCHMCT JEE 2016 Results Declared

Results for NCHMCT JEE 2016 have been declared by National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) today, May 23, 2016.

Candidates can check their NCHMCT JEE exam results on the official website of the hotel management exam.

Candidates can check their NCHMCT JEE 2016 results by entering their NCHMCT JEE 2016 roll number and date of birth (in date-month-year format) on the official website of the Council.

When Shiksha checked, the results for NCHMCT JEE 2016 could be viewed on the NCHMCT website's mobile version but not on the desktop version.

The merit list for NCHMCT JEE exam is prepared on the basis of a candidate’s rank in the written exam. If two or more candidates possess the same marks in NCHMCT JEE exam, then the merit list will be determined on the below mentioned basis:

Candidate securing higher marks in English section of JEE 2016 shall rank higher.

If two or more candidates secure equal marks in JEE 2016 as well as in the English section then the candidate securing higher marks in Service Aptitude Component of JEE shall rank higher.

If there is a tie in the above two mentioned clauses then the candidate who is older in age shall be ranked higher.

On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in NCHMCT JEE exam, he/she can secure admission in a total of 54 Central Government Institutes of Hotel Management, State Government Institutes of Hotel Mangement, Public Sector Undertaking Institute of Hotel Management and Private Institutes of Hotel Management.

NCHMCT JEE 2016 exam was conducted across 33 test cities in India on April 30, 2016. This entrance exam is conducted by National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an autonomous body which falls under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

What after NCHMCT JEE 2016 Written Exam Results?

Once results for NCHMCT JEE 2016 are announced, candidates are allotted ranks basis the marks scored by them in the exam. On the basis of this rank, aspirants are called for NCHMCT JEE counselling round.

NCHMCT JEE 2016 Counselling will have three rounds. The first two rounds of NCHMCT JEE exam counselling will be web based while the third round of counselling will be called Spot Round wherein aspirants will have to appear physically at the admission centre.
