NCHMCT-JEE is scheduled for April 28th

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is all set to conduct its NCHMCT-JEE for the academic year 2012-13. The exam is scheduled for Saturday, 28th April, 2012. Through this exam, you can get admission in B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, which is offered in collaboration with IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University).

It is a single level exam designed for students who want to seek a career in hotel management. B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is a three year long program which equips students required knowledge and skills, train them to handle the supervisory responsibilities in the hospitality sector.

NCHMCT-JEE scores will be accepted by 33 Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) and State Institutes of Hotel Management. Other 19 private hotel management institutes will also accept the scores.

Eligibility required for this exam

One must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a core subject of study in the qualifying examination. Candidates who are appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear for this exam on a provisional basis.

Exam Pattern of NCHMCT-JEE 2012

This exam will have a total of 200 questions and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

Provision for Negative Marking:

0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
