Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development (OCLD) offers aspirants an opportunity to pursue Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP).

Talking about these programmes, Oberoi STEP’s official website informs: “STEP is an opportunity for students to participate in a three-year programme that offers practical training at a hotel of The Oberoi Group. You will be trained in the four core operational departments of a hotel: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service and Kitchen”.

Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development (OCLD) offers two programmes under STEP which are – Kitchen Operations Programme and Hotel Operations Programme.

Oberoi STEP 2017 Eligibility Criteria

As per Oberoi STEP admission process candidates need to fulfill multiple eligibility criteria if they want to apply for admissions in OCLD. Some of the criteria which aspirants need to meet to be eligible to apply for Oberoi STEP programme 2017 are as follows:

Age Limit: Should be above 18 years and below 20 years of age, as on August 15, 2017.

Educational Qualification: Should have cleared their Class XII examination, as on July 1, 2017 from any board that is recognised by the Indira Gandhi National Open University, India (IGNOU).

Oberoi STEP Eligibility criteria for Hotel Operations Programme (Front Office /Food and Beverage Service focus) and Kitchen Operations Programme

Aspirants should have scored 61% marks or above in English in their Class X examination. The CBSE grade equivalent for the same is a B2 Grade or 7 Grade Point.

Oberoi STEP Eligibility criteria for Hotel Operations Programme (Housekeeping focus)

Aspirants should have scored 51% marks or above in English in their Class X examination. The CBSE grade equivalent for the same is a C1 Grade or 6 Grade Point.
