Delhi University Cut-offs 2018: Tenth cutoff released
University of Delhi has declared the tenth cutoff for admissions 2018. DU 10th cutoff was released on August 27, 2018. Candidates who meet the 10th cutoff released by Delhi University (DU) need to complete their admission process from August 27 to August 29, 2018.
Aspirants are informed that Delhi University has released the tenth cutoff as part of a special drive and reserved category students can only take part in the DU admission process after the release of DU's 10th cut-off 2018.

DU Ninth Cutoff 2018
University of Delhi has declared the ninth cutoff for admissions 2018. Earlier, Delhi University (DU) had shared that it would be releasing only eight cutoffs for DU admissions 2018. However, now the varsity has released the ninth cutoff for Arts, Commerce and Science courses offered at its colleges.
DU ninth cutoff 2018 has also been released as part of a special drive. Candidates who meet this cutoff need to complete their admission process from August 21 to August 22, 2018.

DU Eighth Cut off 2018
University of Delhi has released the eighth cut off for DU admissions 2018. A point to note here is that aspirants who have applied for admission under reserved categories would only be allowed to secure admission under DU eighth cutoff 2018.
The eighth cutoff list has been declared as part of a special drive and the reservation categories from which candidates can secure admission at Delhi University colleges basis DU eighth cut off are - Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Disability (PwD), Kashmiri Migrants (KM) and Sikh Minority.
Candidates who are eligible for admission as part of DU eighth cutoff 2018 need to complete their admission process latest by August 16, 2018.

DU Seventh Cut off 2018
University of Delhi has declared the seventh cutoff for admissions 2018 on August 4. Keeping up with the tradition, DU had shared that it would be declaring the seventh cutoff on August 6 but the varsity released the cutoff earlier, just like previous cutoffs.
DU seventh cutoff 2018 remains high in tune with the first six cutoffs released by Delhi University for admissions 2018. DU seventh cut off for English (Hons) offered at Miranda House is 96.25 and the cutoff for the course at Ramjas College is 94.25%.

DU Sixth Cutoff 2018
University of Delhi declared the sixth cutoff for admissions 2018 on July 17, 2018. The good thing for aspirants is that seats are still available for many popular courses at colleges.
Admissions are still open for courses such as BA (Hons) English and BCom. At Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) seats are still available for admission in most of the courses. However, candidates are informed that very few colleges are offering admission in courses such as BCom and BA Programme.

DU Fifth Cutoff 2018
Delhi University has declared the fifth cutoff for admissions 2018 on July 11, 2018. As is the trend with Delhi University cutoffs this year, DU's fifth cut off was released an evening before its scheduled declaration date. Candidates who meet DU's fifth cut off need to ensure that they complete their admission process, that is, document verification, approval of admission and payment of fee from July 12 to July 14, 2018.
As per reports, out of the total number of 56,000 seats available for admission at DU colleges 50,000 seats have already been filled at moer than 60 DU colleges. It has been shared that general category seats have been filled at majority of the DU college but admissions are still open for reserved categories.
DU has shared that it would be releasing only five cutoffs for DU admissions 2018. In order to ensure that the varsity does not have to release any further cutoffs, DU would be conducting a special drive on July 16, 2018 to assist students who have not been able to secure admission in any DU college due to any issue.

DU Fourth Cutoff 2018
Delhi University declared the fourth cutoff for admissions 2018 on July 5, that is, an evening before the scheduled date to declare the cutoff for DU admissions 2018. Candidates who meet DU fourth cutoff need to complete their admission process from July 6 to July 9, 2018.
Candidates are informed that out of the total number of 56,000 seats available for admission at DU colleges, 44,700 seats were filled by the end of DU third cut off admissions. Thus, only 20% seats are available for DU admissions 2018 now.
The drop in cutoff is also marginal with the fourth cutoff being lowered only by 0.25% to 0.5% for most courses.

DU Third Cutoff 2018
University of Delhi has declared the third cutoff for admissions 2018. A point to note is that admission in majority of the popular colleges/courses has been closed for DU admission 2018. Candidates are informed that 26,291 seats have already been filled out of a total of 56,000 seats that are available for DU admissions 2018 basis merit.
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has closed admissions for both — BCom (Hons) and Economics (Hons) for general category students. Economics admissions have been closed for SC category students while BCom (Hons) has been closed for ST category students.
Admission for most popular courses has been closed at Hindu College and Ramjas College.

DU Second Cutoff 2018
Delhi University has declared the second cut-off for admissions 2018. Two popular DU colleges who were the first among Delhi University colleges to declared the second cut-off 2018 were Shri Ram College of Commerce and Kirori Mal College.
Kirori Mal College (KMC) has closed admissions for BA (Hons), BA (Hons) Sanskrit as well as BSc Physical Sciences. There is marginal dip in DU second cutoff for admissions 2018. However, for some courses the DU cutoffs have fallen by 5% also. But the average drop in second cut-off in majority of the courses offered by DU colleges is 2%.
After DU second cutoff 2018 was released many students also opted to shift their college/course. DU colleges share that they have received requests of 2,300 admission cancellations. On the first day of DU admissions basis second cutoff a total of 17,000 admissions were completed and another 5,000 admissions were approved.

DU First Cutoff 2018
Delhi University cutoffs were declared by the varsity on the official website of DU UG admissions 2018 on June 18, 2018. Earlier, it was shared that University of Delhi would be releasing the first cut-off for admissions 2018 on June 19 but now sources share that the first DU cutoff 2018 would be released today itself.
Many DU colleges released their first cutoffs 2018 earlier than the others. Some of these colleges that released their DU first cutoff around 8 pm were Kirori Mal College, Gargi College, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Hansraj College and Aurobindo College (Evening). DU first cutoff for admissions 2018 was high across most courses.

The cutoffs for Hansraj College have witnessed a rise in Humanities courses as compared to the cutoffs released last year. The Hansraj College cutoffs for BA English (Honours) course is 97.25% and the cutoff for BA Economics (Honours) is 98%. Similarly, the SRCC cutoff for BA Economics (Honours) course is 98.50% and BCom (Honours) is 97.75%.
Lady Sri Ram (LSR) College offered admission to candidates in BA (Hons) English course at a cutoff of 97%. Khalsa College which is famous for high cutoffs let go of the trend by bringing BSC Electronics cut off to 97% from 99.66% last year. The highest cutoffs are recorded by LSR for BA Programme (at 98.75%) followed by SRCC (for BA Economics course).
Students who secured less than 85% marks in their Class 12 can also fulfill their dream of joining a Delhi University college. Such students can pursue an Indian language course at DU such as - Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit and Urdu. The cutoff for BA (Hons) Hindi course at Gargi College is 83% whereas at Ramjas College the cutoff for the course is 82%. The cut-offs for Sanskrit course are even lower. In popular DU college like LSR, KMC and Hindu College the cutoff for BA (Hons) Sanskrit course is 66%, 70% and 77% respectively.
For admissions 2018, a total of 2,78,544 candidates successfully filled and submitted Delhi University application forms. Thus, Delhi University (DU) received 21% more application forms this year as compared to last year wherein 2,20,000 candidates registered for admissions. Out of the total number of applicants, 48% are female candidates.
Further, more than 85% candidates who registered for DU admissions 2018 were from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Going by numbers, CBSE board applicants are 2,49,694 followed by 22,266 candidates from UP Board, 10,858 from Haryana Board and 9,681 from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. The boards from which least number of applications have been received are Mizoram Board of School Education and the Aligarh Muslim University Board. Only 245 candidates have applied for DU admissions 2018 from the Mizoram Board.

Delhi University has shared that it would be released only five cutoffs for admissions 2018. However, DU’s official website informs that further Cut-offs/Spot Counseling schedule may be declared if seats remain vacant in colleges.
Candidates are informed that document verification and approval of admission at DU would be from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm for morning college whereas for evening colleges the timing would be 4 pm to 7 pm. Further the official website informs: “After approval of admission, the applicant has to log on to the undergraduate admission portal to make online admission fee payment. This may be done till 12:00 noon of the day of the last day of that cut-off in which applicant is taking admission”.
Each year, Delhi University offers admission to aspirants on the basis of merit (DU cutoffs) as well as through Delhi University Entrance Exam (DUET). Candidates need to meet DU cut-offs in order to secure admission to fill a total 56,000 seats. On the basis of DUET around 1,800 seats are up for grabs.

DU Admissions 2018: St Stephen’s Cutoffs
The first cutoff for St Stephen’s College admission 2018 has been released. Not much has changed with respect to St Stephen’s cutoffs 2018 as compared to the cutoffs released last year. The cutoffs for Arts and Commerce subjects have witnessed a slight rise, however, science cutoffs are almost the same.
St Stephen's cut-offs for Economics Honours course is 98% for humanities students and 97.5% for science students. English Honours also had extremely high cutoffs which were 98.5% for commerce students, 97.5% for humanities students and 98% for science students.
