Earlier, there were talks that the DU UG programme admission process may go completely online for the academic session commencing in 2015. However, after much deliberation it was decided that the DU admissions would be conducted in a similar fashion as last year. Read on to know why DU UG programme admission process 2015 was not made completely online.

We know that you must have many questions in mind before you apply for admissions at DU and to help you in this hour of need, we are listing some frequently asked questions  on DU admissions below:

The best-of-four aggregate for admissions in UG programmes offered at DU will be formed by calculating the marks scores by students in one language, two academic or elective subjects and the subject in which the candidate is seeking admissions.

Q. Are vocational subjects taken into consideration while calculating the best-of-four-subjects’ percentage?

Yes, this is done but there are many conditions attached to it. Here, first of all it is stated that only a single vocational subject will be considered for admission into honours programmes. However, for other programmes even two vocational courses (which are approved by CBSE) can be considered for admissions. For honours programme= Vocational + English (or any other language) + two electives

For a non-honours programme= First vocational + second vocational + English + one elective
