List of documents to carry for DU Admissions 2015

Delhi University admission process for the 2015-2016 academic session has commenced. Candidates can submit their online application forms for admissions in Delhi University (DU) colleges latest by June 15, 2015. The offline application process would commence from June 5, 2015 onwards.

Admissions for different courses at DU are conducted through a centralised means. Only two colleges have their own admissions process, these are – St Stephen’s College and Jesus and Mary College.

While seeking admissions at DU colleges, candidates need to carry some documents with them. Aspirants need to note that they need to the carry the below mentioned original documents at the time of admissions. Apart from that they also need to carry two sets of self-attested copies of the documents as well. The documents they need to carry are as follows:

  • Class X Board Examination Certificate
  • Class X Mark-Sheet
  • Class XII Mark-Sheet
  • Class XII Provisional Certificate/ Original Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the name of the candidate)
  • OBC Non- Creamy Layer Certificate issued by competent authority (in the name of the candidate)
  • Transfer Certificate from school/ college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/ University from students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi
  • Minimum of two passport size self-attested photograph

On the basis of cut-off shared by DU, candidates can secure admissions to fill 54,000 seats on offer at 77 colleges affiliated to the university. Candidates are also informed that there are some courses offered at DU wherein they have to appear for an entrance test in order to secure admissions.
