More multi-disciplinary course options at SNU

The Shiv Nadar University, recently added four brand new courses to its multi-disciplinary offerings across various disciplines – Chemical Engineering, Sociology, History and Life Sciences.

Meant for undergraduates, the courses will allow students to choose multiple electives for enhanced breadth of learning and academic engagement. Subsequently, the university has also invited applications for admissions for the academic year 2013-14.

According to Nikhil Sinha, vice chancellor, Shiv Nadar University, expansion of the breadth of SNU's courses with multidisciplinary offerings will allow its students to opt for more elective courses along with their majors, providing them the opportunity to pursue a range of intellectual interests resulting in greater academic success, better career choices and deeper personal satisfaction. The University also plans to launch schools in the areas of management & entrepreneurship, education, law and communication in the next two years.

Well the offerings do not end here! SNU also has a wide range of scholarships on offer that range from Rs 5,40,000 to Rs 9,40,000 across disciplines. These scholarships are meant for students who have excelled in academic and non-academic fields for the second year. For deserving candidates, the scholarship amount will cover not just tuition expenses, but also living costs.
