IGNOU 

Established in 1985, Indira Gandhi National Open University or IGNOU is the largest, most popular of all open universities currently operating in the country. At IGNOU, they offer more than 200 distance learning programmes in 27 Schools of Study (or streams). These programmes are supported by an easy online portal, an enormous network of 67 regional centres, more than 2500 learner support centres and 29 overseas partner institutions. Q:   Is MBA available at IGNOU?

Yes, IGNOU also offers a two-year MBA programme in General, Banking & Finance, Financial Management, HRM, Marketing Management and Operations Management specialisations. Up until past years, i.e., 2021, IGNOU MBA admission was subject to valid scores obtained by the students in the IGNOU OPENMAT exam. However, for 2023 admission, OPENMAT was not conducted for the January and July sessions. Admission is now being granted on a merit-basis. Yes, BEd is valid from U P Rajarshi Tandon Open University. UPRTOU offers a two-year full-time BEd programmes in General Education and Special Education. There are two admission cycles every year, between January and July. An applicant becomes eligible only if he/she meets the minimum eligibility criteria. The basic eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have a graduation/ PG with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities. Candidates with BTech/BSc/BSc Mathematics degree must have passed with 55% aggregate.

Q:   Is UPRTOU MBA degree valid?

A:

Yes, UPRTOU MBA degree is valid. The courses offered by UPRTOU are recognised by the joint committee of University Grants Commission (UGC)-All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and DEC. The degree provided on completion of the programme makes a candidate eligible for various private as well as government sector jobs. The industry-relevant curriculum followed at the university prepares them to take up a variety of job roles.

Yes, Dr Br Ambedkar Open University offers B.Ed courses at the undergraduate level. The minimum and maximum duration to pursue the B.Ed programme at BRAOU Hyderabad is two years and four years, respectively. Aspirants need to appear for B.Ed Entrance Exam for admission. Candidates seeking admission to the BRAOU B.Ed course must visit the official website of the University to apply online.
