TISS admissions open for MA/MSc/MPH/MHA in Social Sciences
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has declared the dates of National Entrance Test (NET) for MA / MSc / MPH/ MHA admissions, 2014-2016.
TISS through its 9 schools and 3 independent centres at the Mumbai Campus, along with vibrant campuses in Tuljapur (Rural Maharashtra), Guwahati and Hyderabad offer 45 MA / MSc / MPH/ MHA programmes in inter and trans-disciplinary areas of social work, health, management, development, habitat and climate sciences.
Please note: Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any two of the TISS Campuses.

Eligibility
The general eligibility requirement for all courses is:
a) Bachelor's degree with minimum of three years duration or equivalent (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised university are eligible to apply
b) Candidates must complete all the requirements of final year Bachelor's Degree examinations by Saturday, June 14, 2014 are also eligible to apply to all programmes except School of Health System Studies and School of Education (Elementary) programmes.
c) In case of (b), admission to any of the Master's Degree Programmes of the Institute will be provisional. In case the examination process for the final year is not over before June 14, 2014, the provisional admission stands cancelled. If a provisionally admitted student fails in the final year examination, the offer of provisional admission automatically stands cancelled.

Entrance Test
Computer-based National Entrance Test (TISS-NET) will be held on December 22, 2013, in 35 centres located in different parts of the country. It is an objective type test with questions related to Social Sensitivity; Knowledge on Contemporary issues; Analytical Ability, and Logical Reasoning.
