NIELIT (earlier DOEACC)  is an exclusive creation of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It works under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India. Accreditation has been granted to various computer training institutes/organisations in the non-formal sector for conducting specified levels of courses, subject to adherence to well-defined norms and criteria.

These courses are: ‘O' (Foundation Level), ‘A' (Advanced Diploma), ‘B' (MCA Equivalent) and ‘C' (M.Tech Level in Computer Science and Engineering). The syllabi and examinations for the courses have been designed by an expert panel drawn from academia, industry and the government.

NIELIT (earlier DOEACC) 'O' - level Program

It is a foundation (Junior Programmer) level course, and it provides general insights about the operational and programming aspects of Computers. This course has been designed for students who are new in this industry.

Eligibility:

  • Should have passed 10+2

NIELIT (earlier DOEACC) 'A'- Level Program

The NIELIT (earlier DOEACC) `A' level is a full-time course and the duration of this program is one year. Every day one needs to give 5 to 6 hours, and it is for the students who have already graduated or have `O' level qualifications.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate in any discipline 
  • 10+2 with Engineering Diploma from a Polytechnic

NIELIT (earlier DOEACC) 'B'- Level Program

The NIELIT (earlier DOEACC) `B' level full-time course is an MCA level program. It is a three-year-long program and for `A' level qualified students, and it takes two years. It ensures the development of high-end technical personnel in the Computer world.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate in any discipline 
  • 10+2 with Engineering Diploma from a Polytechnic

NIELIT (earlier DOEACC) 'C'- Level (M.Tech. Level) Program

The DOEACC `C' level course is an MTech level program. It provides an excellent opportunity to BE/B Tech/ M.Sc./MBA students from other disciplines to master the field of Computers.

Eligibility:

NIELIT (earlier DOEACC) `B' Level 

  • B.Tech/BE/MCA 
  • M.Sc./Master's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/ Operations Research 
  • MBA (or equivalent) with B.Sc./BA (Mathematics/Statistics)

REALLY I CANT UNDERSTOOD ABOUT THIS COURSE? WHY THIS IS NECESSARY IF I HAVE MY OWN DEGREE? AFTER DEGREE, WHY THIS IS NEEDED TO THE GOVERNMENT IN INDIAN NAVY? TODAY I SAW FOR THE POST OF ONLY OPERATOR ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IS CERTIFIED BY THE NIELIT? WHAT IT EXACT MEANS? CAN I GET MY ANSWER? PLZ
