Intel India Pvt Ltd has launched the second edition of the ‘Intel India Embedded Challenge Contest', a contest for students, interested individuals and entrepreneurs from all over India. This contest is meant to inspire the technically- savvy people to design and develop novel embedded applications in areas such as consumer electronics, digital security surveillance, medical, storage and others. It has two main categories.

The Embedded Geeks Category involves development of a prototype using Intel Atom Processor. Shortlisted participants in this category will be given an Intel Atom Kit and mentoring support for prototyping their innovation. The Embedded Solutions for Social Causes Category is for using existing technologies to show service / usage models in a wide range of application or service areas.

This category is open to non-engineering segments as well. Contest details are available at www.intel.com/education/ in. Shortlisted finalists of Embedded Geeks category will win a hardware platform based on Intel Atom. They can then continue to work on their prototype for the final contest. Intel India will also offer any guidance and help by assigning mentors for the projects.

In the Embedded Solutions for Social Causes category, the finalists will showcase successful usage / service models based on use of existing technology. The grand prize will be R10 lakh to be disbursed in installments. Plus, R50,000 cash prize for seven best applications, gold medals from Intel for all finalists.

Key dates

Phase - I:

  • Submission of abstract - January 10, 2011
  • Results of phase 1 -- January 30, 2011

Phase - II:

  • Deadline for submission of final abstracts by shortlisted teams - February 28, 2011
  • Results of phase 2 -- selected teams will be shortlisted for the finals by March 20, 2011
  • Finalists to receive application reference design kits -- April 1st week, 2011
  • Finals - presentations to jury and award ceremony -- August 2011

sir, we want a new board bcz you all can't solve this problem bcz i am from a very small distt. of punjab so i know wat happend when a intelligant students result is not good where a stupid and a cheater student's %age is near then 90% tell me the answer of my question, sory i never no gud english.

what every teacher do when a student done cheating in the examination hall....bcz these teachers just doing the job as formality for money, no one take any action why?
