Hack your way to a dream job!

Gone are the times when biggies only hired talent from IITs or NIITs, as new age coders aka hackers (we are talking about ethical stuff here)have caught the eye of the likes of Microsoft, Facebook and Amazon etc. Thanks to an initiative called ‘Hacker Earth’.

India boasts of talented coders and a Bangalore-based company started by Sachin Gupta and Vivek Prakash is providing a platform to talented hackers, in a bid to help them unveil their programming skills and get noticed by big firms.

The aim of Hacker Earth is to showcase programmers to companies that need specific skill sets. Thus, Hacker Earth has come up with a unique pan-India hacking challenge called ‘India Hacks’, where companies can present a number of coding challenges that the coders can try out.

So get set coders to strike it big, as hackers from all over India will be given 24 hours to solve 5 to 6 problems and stand a chance to win cash prizes. The top ten programmers will be given a chance to visit the offices of Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, Flipkart Walmart Labs and Sourcebits in Bangalore.

So how about ethical hacking?
