IBM ties up with Indian Universities for analytics training
Realizing the growing market demand for analytics-savvy graduates, IBM is working with Indian universities and abroad universities to bring advanced analytics training directly into the class room. The company is spreading out its academic initiatives for business analytics with new programs in India, China, Ireland and Scotland.
By offering this program, the company will help number of students to keep pace with today's competitive job market by gaining skills in this fastest -growing field of technology. Currently, IBM India is working with faculty members from 500 universities to help more than 30,000 students to develop skills in predictive analytics.
IBM will carry out a series of training programs in 15 major cities across India with the faculties of business schools and it will emphasize on the predictive and business analytics. The faculty members will complete a certification process in analytics at the end of the program.
After getting the certification, they will be equipped with the teaching skills and they will be able to teach students as how analytics can be applied to their topic of study.
