Indian IT Industry is in Hot Soup!
Indian IT Industry is going through a shockwave as Wipro is losing its diamonds. As per the internal sources, more and more top management people of Wipro are applying and looking for new jobs. After the arrival of new CEO in the Wipro, operations have changed drastically and it might be a reason as why more senior officials are looking for new jobs.
As per sources, somewhere around 500 senior executives of Wipro (in 15-20 years of experience) are quitting jobs or are looking for new jobs. As per the internal sources of Wipro, around 40 people of Wipro which includes the business heads and general managers have already chucked up the sponge.
According to recruitment agencies and job portals, Business heads of Wipro have started gliding their resumes and fetching fascinating offers outside the organization. Infosys is facing a similar crisis and the declining prices of its stock reflect the gravity of the situation. The sudden exit of HR Head Mohandas Pai at Infosys and the abrupt change in the Top management has made analysts uncomfortable. Couple of internal distractions has led to all this and can become a major issue for these companies.
India is the biggest scientific and engineering hub and is known for its IT professionals. But the uncertainty in the sector may repulse some of the prospective IT aspirants. It seems that the highly skilled IT industry is finally slipping on its ‘glamour' factor. Last we heard, only 9,000 candidates took the State Entrance Examination (SEE) 2011 for 10,000 MCA seats that were available.
