Delhi University is planning to launch a brand new four-year degree programme that will incorporate industry-based projects to encourage innovation and hands-on learning for students. This DU Information and Communication Technology degree programme will also include Mathematics components and is envisioned to be an interdisciplinary programme.

The students of the programme will be encourage to be innovative in various related areas such as signal processing, electronics, engineering, computer science, and research in general. The Delhi University ICT and Maths programme will also be unique because it will give only 40% weightage to classroom learning, whereas 60% weightage will be given to industry projects.
